UPDATE: Sale pending tomorrow, will be gone then unless it falls through for some reason - Thanks for all the interest

Our FS128 is much loved, but to be honest just a bit big ! At 1040mm and F8 it's a fantastic fluorite doublet equally at home for visual and photographic use. The tube has some some scratches and paint chips. The optics are fine, but do show the odd small mark and a little dust - Truly nothing that will impact visual or photographic images. It carries the interesting serial number #00001 - which I believe means it was the first one made in the year 2000, not that it was the first FS-128 - It's a nice little unique thing anyway.

Great review here: http://www.cloudynights.com/item.php?item_id=1329

Included are a host of extras:

A surprisingly light custom made laminated plywood, foam lined case. This fits the OTA with the rings, dovetail and focuser attached. This case just fits across the back seat of our Subaru Outback. 1250mm Long.
A feather touch micro focuser (I also have the original) if you prefer that. (I would be happy to discount a bit and keep the feather touch if it's not desired).
A focal reducer (brings the scope back to ~F6 and flattens the field, optics on this are extremely clean) with Canon EF mount.
A camera angle adjuster.
Tube rings (I think they are older parallax ones, but can't be sure).
Losmandy Dovetail
Telrad Base (can easily be removed).
A slightly battered manual.

In it's case it probably weighs 15kg+, and is 1250mm long so shipping it would be very expensive and not ideal I think. However if you want to arrange a courier and cover the cost/insurance that's fine with me.

Price $3500

Payment via CommBank Transfer or Cash.

Good weather pending we will also be at the ASV Heathcote Site friday and saturday of the Galactic Centre party if you want to pick up in person there, pickup in Brunswick, Melbourne is also fine.
