This looks kinda like the one that sold here for $550 less than a year ago http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=67150
;)
Production line manufacturing does tend to have that result.
Why point out the obvious?
Good luck with the sale, Denn.

Down to the markings on the dovetail? Not to mention the home-made LED illumination for the finder.
Cheers
Steffen.

Clearly these people ( Steffan, Ausrock ) have nothing better to do with their time. reading the TOS for the For Sale section might be better time spent ?

hello to all out there who are so concerned about this sale,i would like to set the story straight,it is the same scope, lookus is my friend, who at the time was very dishartened with dropping the price on this scope and wasent going to sell it any lower than 550,he needed the money ,i didnt need the scope or at that time have the money but i bought it to help him out and thought i would keep it,i have used it once since that time, now i need the money and dont use the scope, astro shop sells the scope for 1,300, plus the motor focuser,i thought 700 or near offer was worth it,for the condition it is in ,just to let you know i have accepted an offer of 550,i think thats a great buy, hope this clears the air,i do uphold you members trying to keep things real.

If Dennis originally got the Scope for a " song " ... because the other party was in need of some " cash " ... and the seller agrees to that ...then good on you Dennis.
Once in a while .. we all come by circumstances where we can pick up a bargain ... and in this case it was Dennis and his friend.
IMHO ... Dennis doesn't have to " justify " his selling price to anyone .... besides ... you can always " haggle " over a price agreement if you want to buy from him.
Anyway ... Good on you Dennis for " sticking up " for yourself.

Nothing wrong with making a profit!
And no need to explain Dennis .......
Good luck selling it, seems like a good deal to me!
