Well after a brief first light last night due to clouds spent a little time this afternoon learning the ins and outs of the minitower mount. Had a look at the moon in the afternoon daylight then decided to slew to saturn and was pleased with how much i could see in daylight with the C8 OTA. - Put the 21mm eyepiece on and took a couple of pictures - afocal with a Canon s90 compact camera - threaded to the eyepiece with an adapter - had terrible time trying to focus - I need to learn some skills! - then a bit later took some moon shots - all single shots afocal with canon s90. When i save my pennies Ill get a CCD webcam to try...- OR could I just shoot video frames with the S90 and use software to stack them?
