Thats some serious equipment there, looks great. Whats something like that worth in a round sort of figure? RCOS and PME...

Like the observatory too, I downloaded your plans for a closer look.

The images are supurb, they look very professional.

Awesome looking set up Brad.

Plenty of dollars in this set up.

I estimate around $60,000 for the scope mount and Camera.....then you have all the extras..probably another $10,000 worth

That is one awsome set of kit, us GEM owners can only dream of a PE graph like that.

Whats the use of a guide scope...?????

It would never be used or is it for visual work.

The SBIG is self guiding - it has two ccd in the one camera. I also use a instrument rotator.

It is a wonderful setup you have there Brad. In our hobby it is involvement and sharing, not winning that is important. We should all use the equipment we have to our best ability. To even start to use Brads setup would take a lot of experience. It would be like trying to fly a 747 after learning in a Cessna.
I for one have found that the learning is the best bit. Most of my attempts have been failures, but they were not really as I got experience and next time did better.
That is a serious investment in your abilities and judging by the results is fully warranted.
