Hi to everyone
It's been a bleak winter for me as far as imaging is concerned and this is my first for quite a while. It's the bright edge on galaxy in Indus which I haven't imaged before. There's quite a lot of detail present and lots of background galaxies.
I probably could have handled the bright stars better but generally I'm happy with the result.
Cheers
Steve

Hi Steve, yeah the weather's been quite poor in my region as well.... and makes it depressing not to be able to get out!
Nice to see you were able to bag this Little beauty with a swag of BG galaxies as well.
I can't recall ever doing this one either!
Love the way it is framed within those 8 stars, just a photo perfect object.
Yes some nice fine filament structure showing within!
I know what your saying about your stars... they look a little mute in intensity... It looks like the curve you came up with ...
Sort this minor thing and it will be just right I reckon.
Hope the weather gets better for you.
Been 4 crackers here.. but rain is on the way.
All the best

Thanks Rich. The main problem over the last two months has been me being in the wrong place at the right time plus being laid low by a nasty virus rather than the weather. The stars do look a little bland. I'll try and perk them up a bit.
Cheers

Wow. Perfect colour balance and guiding with some serious focal length.
I'd be very happy with that!
