And I mean quick. Just 2 each 5 minute RGB and 3X5 min Luminance images, Total exposure time 45 minutes.

I was just testing all my gear before packing it up tomorrow to head off to BSG for a few wonderful nights under the stars. Surprise it all worked.

Scope: Takahashi TSA 120.
Camera: QHY9 Mono
Filters: Baader LRGB

Hi Doug,

Nice photo.

I love the colour and the smooth tones.

Not bad for a quick one.

Thanks.

Ross.

Thanks Guy's. It's been a while between images due to a nice long holiday but I am now home again and weather permitting I will start and use the 120 a bit more.

Thanks again

Nice view Doug.
Very smooth!
It's just amazing that with 45min of exposure time you can have an image like this.
Ah the times we live.....

What's BSG Doug.. obviously a dark sky site and star party.. but where??

Cheers
Rich

Hi Rich, Thanks. BSG = Border Star Gaze. Star party held outside Albury on the shores of Lake Hume. My local Star Party and a ripper to boot.

Thanks Mike, I will finally meet Marc at BSG so I might have to duck a couple but it looks like the name change is going to stick for this nebula. Just needs a Sidonio or two.

Thanks David, this scope and camera combination seems to work very well. Very happy.

Thanks Louie
