Hello:

You guys are still (for south) in winter and heading toward summer.

But for northern hemisphere people like me; we're heading toward winter.

See you

Hi Dave, it looks like spring is starting a bit earlier for me this year.

A good sign for me is that my bee hives are already starting to become quite active and the bee's are into the flowering wattles building up their energy for the coming season.

Hi All,
Here, just 35 klm North of Brisbane, it appears that spring is right on time.
Birds are quarrelling and nesting. That started around the first week of July.
Fruit trees are flowering.
The first temperature rises have always happened in the second part of August. Minimums are no longer in single figures. From the 20 Aug the BOM site indicates a steady rise and the last of single figure minimums is passed.

I observe this each year. I cut firewood and light the fire on nights with temps below 11C. Its less work when it comes into late Aug. Hehhe.

My son is a Black Hawk helicopter pilot in the US Army. He and his family have just been posted to Germany.
Winter snow and cold. Well at least its not permanent.

Spring is here on the "bottom" of the globe, (Downunder).

Cheers

Michigan winters are pretty horrendous and come early.
Remember to stock up on beaver tails and pemican!

We're still a ways off spring in South Gippy (we're still a ways of 1986 actually).
But I've got firewood corded and we can always eat the neighbour's and cows.
Errr.
I mean the neighbour's cows.
Yeah.
That's what I meant :D

We've got daffodils out, tui's are establishing their nesting areas and calling for mates. I'm just waiting for the grape vine to show first leaf buds.

Better clean the BBQ ..!!
