Excellent, it took me a second, but then I could spot the spot!

I'm loving seeing everyone's beginning images, it is so exciting whilst I wait for my mount to arrive.
It also lets us beginners see what is possible, when we start out. If my first images look this good and can see the spot, I will be stoked!

Thanks guys, considering im only using a canon powershot A495 its not to bad at all. Cant wait to see what images ill get when i get a DSLR.

Hi Paula,
those are great pics.Did you just hold the camera up to the eyepiece? When you get your DSLR you can use the video mode of the camera and get lots of frames that you can then stack with Registax to get more detail.I also have sent my old Neximage camera to Australia (see free neximage post).You can add you name to the list if you want to play around with that camera.

Thanks Carl, yep just held the camera up to the eyepiece, i captured video then extracted the frames then stacked the images with registax.
