While my C11 is in the hospital getting fixed i figured I would try imaging Jupiter with my Nexstar 8SE.Seeing was only 2/5 and I couldnt focus very well, but these are what I got;

Bloody hell! That was through an 8" SCT?
Was this through the DMK or the DFK?
You may be a bit disappointed with the images, but I'd be so impressed if I ever got to this level!

Thanks Peter,
these were taken with my 8inch nexstar8SE and my DMK camera and filter wheel.It was a little trying though.When I turned the filter wheel the scope shook so bad for 30 seconds that I had to wait and I have an electric focuser, but sharp focus seemed to be between two clicks of the focuser.Hopefully tomorrow will have better seeing.The collimation is also a little off, but seeing was too poor to fix.
I alos added a 2 inch spacer before the filter wheel to enlarge the size of the image. The imaging train looks ridiculously long, but it did kind of work
