I took this at the last new moon when Graeme, Danny and Steve were there. It shows the central hub over the observatory and of course the TSA imaging.
Nicely done Paul. Looks like you've got some good skies there.

I'm not green with envy at all becasue if I took a shot like that from my current imaging location the whole frame would be green = plenty of green for me :P
A nice shot Paul

Green with envy here too......All this urban sprawl has made such a difference over the last couple of years. Need a generator and a few black outs!
Nice image Paul!

Envious of those skies :)
Q for u, do u always leave on your red lights when imaging ? I turn mine off as i thought the camera might catch a reflection or 2 ?

Thanks guys. Yes I am very fortunate, but I do like to share those skies with the guys that live here in SA. New moon I am generally down at the observatory and I like to have a couple of mates down for imaging or viewing.
Marcus, the light looks brighter than it really is, I leave the laptop open with a dark red filter on the screen. This light is very low level though and as yet has not interfered with my images.

Hey, I recognise that scene. I can attest to the quality of the skies.

Yep.... very purdy skies partner...and after having seen the light (actually, lack of it here (http://www.atscope.com.au/BRO/galleyOS11.html) ) I'm thinking a remote site would be a capital idea!
