I have noticed most people use OIII or other filters with mono cameras. Can you use an OIII filter on a colour camera? Do you then just combine the image with a normal unfiltered image?
I quite like PN and if I get a cheapish camera to start the FOV will be relatively small - so PN would be ideal targets. I am also thinking of getting an OIII filter anyway for visual observing... so I was curious as to whether colour cameras and OIII filters go together! :)

1. You can use it, but it won't be as effective as with mono camera.
2. Most of planetary nebulas is small, usually planet-sized or less. Small sensitive mono camera and narrowband filters (or RGB through UHC) would be very effiecient on them :) And you can do some experiments like imaging He, Ne or Ar bands :)
