M27 Quickies

Grabbed 4 subs each of S2HaO3 the other night to see how much of each is in the target and have mixed them in different ways to see what comes up. HaO3O3 looks like it will be the most pleasing way to do it.

These are 10min Ha subs, 5min O3 subs both binned x1 and 20min S2 subs binned x2.

HaO3O3, HaO3S2 and S2HaO3.

Yeah, that 8" RC isn't a bad scope jjj ;)

If I drop the S2 Rick I can go deeper on the other 2. This NB stuff seems to be based on balancing the channels and more often than not that means dialling back everything to match the S2 and not overpower it.

I like the first. But all are good. Some flats would help balance the images but great outer nebulosity captured!

Yep Ross, I think HaO3O3 is the go, or animate them all :lol:

I might clean the sensor as well Paul. It's looking pretty grubby of late, but I've been waiting for it to frost up before opening it up again. Looks like it's not going to do that :)

I like the first one best, it's quite good.

The flashing version is catchy though ;)
