Last nights opportunity of clear skies could not be passed up. Not only did I collect data on the Helix nebula I also collected data on the dark dust nebulae of Barnard 92 and 93. As it turns out this image just joins the image I did of NGC6589/90. So maybe down the track I will be doing a mosaic.

Hey that's a beauty.
A nice, interesting and vibrant background really sets the dark nebula off.
Boy they are really dark. I imagine in reality they are some tiny amounts of molecule per square metre but from so far away it looks like its really solid.

Ink spots!!
Nice capture Paul.
They're too dark for my liking Paul. Don't get me wrong, they should be inky black but with respect to the surrounding area, I'd say the darker parts are clipped. Enjoyed the star colours. You manage the highlights well with good stellar profiles. I would suggest keeping a closer eye on the shadows to improve on this.

A beautiful photo Paul.
I love the contrast of the inky black against the multi colours.
Thanks.
Ross.
