Nice work Peter once again. Fantastic prominence action. Perhaps I need to take off my front etalon to image the prominences. Just one request. Can you change the colour of the solar surface? I am pretty sure that our sun is not brown. :)

I see you use the AP155 which in itself is a dream scope. Does your rig get hot? How's the residual heat dissipated. Most of the light would have to be reflected out correct?

Indeed. H-alpha is deep red and beyond the Gamut of all LCD displays.
I thought I gave it a "golden" rather than "brown" look....that said, it's now brighter and more yellowish :) (you may need to refresh your browser)
Thanks Al.... Ok I'll keep posting some solar stuff.
Instrument heat has not been a problem. The Etalons keep the heat out. That said, I do all my solar runs in the morning to keep both local and day seeing at bay.
Gee's that would knock the hell out of my Sunsets, simply awesome stuff Peter'
Now Ill confuse everyone here, "how did you go with the foot"
Leon
