Comet Garrardd was looking very large and bright this morning. 22" Newtonian, SBIG STL 11000, 60 secs.

Richard,

Nice image, really does look big and bright. Thanks for sharing.

I still haven't got up the motivation to get out there early in the morning for this one (it is behind my neighbour's tree until about 3am for me).

Nice image Richard. Is it naked eye?

You might consider resizing the image before uploading, because I had trouble scrolling around to find the comet :) It will also mean less compression is necessary.

I finally saw this little beauty through my humble 3.5" WO Megrez last night in my suburban backyard. It took me a while to find because it was so dim. I was looking for a fuzzy star with a bright nucleus but I was wrong. It was just a smudge and hardly any coma seen. At 50X the smudge appeared to be elongated along N/S plane.
Happy to have found it:)
P.S. No Mike it can't be naked eye even under dark sky. Around mag8 or 9 at the moment.
