Hello all,
I apollogize if this was already answered, I did a quick search on this forum and couldn't find an answer.
I'm planning on seeing the 2012 eclipse from Cairns and I wonder if there will be a star party or if you could reccomend a dark sky spot in the area. It will be my first time south of the equator and I would really like to have a couple of nights observing the south sky. I will probably not bring a telescope, just a pair of binoculars, it would be great if some of could help us get a look at southern wonders through a 'scope.
Thanks in advance,
Boris from Zagreb, Croatia
