Hi Mike,
I used the DMK618 for the IR shot, but the color shots are with the DFK21AU.04.as older type, do not have RGB filters yet.
I will get the DBK21AU618.as color camera also and see how it works, a bit afraid of RGB capturing and processing, I take a lot of AVI's and it might take forever to process in RGB filters.
So maybe later when I get more familiar with the monochrome, I'm very used with the color cameras for now.

Very nice Freddy. Better get my butt into gear and get some Jupiter data. Your images look nicely detailed and already this season the images seem to have a distinct colour slant from last. Looking at Waynes last night I saw the same colouring, so the planet has once again taken on its own distinctive colour for the season. Odd really.

I had to have another look at this image today, Freddy. It's inspiring me to setup the scope and get out there to image Jupiter this season.
I went through the whole of last season without a single image of Jupiter!
This image is now IOTW (http://www.iceinspace.com.au).
