First one is my favorite. Great detail and the soft, yet colourful, background is very nice.

Very nice pictures Chris. I especially like the second - such detail and while the vegetation looks good in the others, the bird alone really shines.

Normally, that type of light would be considered highly unflattering, but seems to work quite well here.

Thank you for your comments,feed back is much appreciated-I trying to improve my bird photography,Good point H-re lighting,I have started using AV mode a lot more in the last couple of weeks,and I feel I am starting to get some better results with birds on the perch.Its no good for BIF and I go to manual for that.

I'll post the camera settings for these later.
