Since you're so interested in the Pioneer Anomaly, Alex, here's a recent article which will (or should, if they're correct) put the matter to rest once and for all....
http://www.technologyreview.com/blog/arxiv/27012/
Seems they've found the Sunward acceleration of the Pioneer probes is decreasing at an exponential rate. Squarely in line with the radioactive decay of the Po238 powered generators on the spacecraft's generator boom.

It appears to be confirmation of an earlier study by European physicists

Carl thank you very much for taking the time to do all that for me.
I have not looked at the links yet... but what do you want me to do? peer review their work :lol:
I am embarrassed to admit this but I am sure my original slowing prediction was in respect of the voyagers ...names are not important to me so when I read the pioneer were slowing I thought it was the voyagers... so it was a stuff up really. Mind you if the voyagers slow as well:rolleyes:...
Anyways I did think that anycraft that would leave the Solar System, and I think they all have now if were have our boundaries properly defined, would slow...also my prediction was (is just in case) that not only will they slow but appear to stop and then appear to race away..it would be us racing away in so far as I think they would effectively be stopped held by the nonexistent aether in interstella space...I think I also said that radioactive decay would be faster than expected...
Although you probably think it strange I could conclude thus, I say that it all seemed reasonable to me if indeed the flow of matter and energy as I imagine was out there and if indeed it interacted with matter... I tried to develope a line to establish what we could be dealing with via the infinite trajectory approach but conclude that such an approach can only work like the Drake equation in so far as starting with infinity or a very large number means you can finally get results suggesting reality can be determined by a probability related to infinity... not helpful.
But it all comes from my original question years ago..what is the force of gravity or how "mechanically" does it work.
When I read Newtons answer "gravity is due to the force of God" I felt the issue was at least unresolved at that point.
After years of trying to take in relativity I concluded that force was not the issue and was not dealt with other than a field approach...
So I sort of know less now than when I started as the question has presented so many more for me...
Again thanks so much I have power and clear reception today so I will be happy reading the links.

Carl I had an excellent journey ended up following links to stuff I had not covered.(navier Stokes equations and related matter..most interesting)
I had to laugh on one forum via the links there was a chap who thought push was responsible:eyepop: ....it wasnt me:). Clearly he thought that was a new idea on gravity ..should have registered and told him LeSage (1745) beat him on that approach.
I did find out the hypothisised graviton can possibly travel faster than light (never knew that) so that solves my perceived problem with getting the " message" of gravity past the black hole event horizon.
