More Snow!

We had another decent snow fall today.:thumbsup:

Here's a few of the shots I got.

I had a bit of a moment on the way home this arvo actually. Driving slowly in the snow, I crested a hill on a steeply banked left hand corner, and there was a car coming up the hill towards me... I just backed off a touch, and the engine braking in the old Hilux was enough to break traction. Seeing as I was going slow, the tail didn't go out... it came IN due to the steep camber. I was all too soon just along for the ride...:rolleyes:

I ended up hitting the armco rail on the outside of the corner with the front left side of the bull bar and bounced back into the middle of the road facing the wrong way. I rolled back to clear the down hill lane and got out to check on damage... NONE!:D

Without doubt the worst ice conditions I've driven in.

I was surprised the kids didn't even build one this time.:screwy: We had a heap of rain overnight and all the snow was gone this morning... and I mean ALL!



Yeah, its not real good for astronomy at the moment (well, for quite a while now!) but I do enjoy a decent snowfall.
