Hi all,
I'm selling an Argo-Navis system, with encoders, cables, CD, instructions & a couple of attachments.
Encoders are 10,000 step with one, 8192 step the other.
I was to install it on my big dob, along with motor drives, but I've decided to not go down that path.
Asking $500 including post in Oz.
Mental.

A couple of pictures added.
Another piece of gear not listed is the mounting bracket.

Hi Alexander.
DO you know if your gear would be able to be used on a 10 inch Sky Watcher?
Or would i have to buy extra?
Thanks
Benno

It could be, but depends on what mount your using, go to the Argo navis site to find the appropriate mounting kit , if one is available :)

Roger's right, the encoder mount hardware depends on your scope. [ulr=http://www.wildcard-innovations.com.au/mnt_hw_describe.html]Here's the Argo-Navis encoder mounting hardware page.[/url] Skywatcher dobs are listed towards the bottom of the first list of brands.
That is why I made no mention of the mounting hardware in my ad. The mounting hardware is too variable. Gary Kopff at Wildcard Innovations is very helpful in this respect too. The system he's come up with in the Argo-Navis is very flexible to retrofit to any scope.

Purchased second hand, having been installed onto a custom gem. mount. I never got to install the unit, though it works fine. Even got some quotes from Wildcard Innovations for the mounting hardware and the installation instructions. The change of direction I've taken has ment I won't be needing this very fine unit. I've used a number of units on various scopes, and they are so easy to use. Align, enter object, and a simple count-down counter literally 'zeros in' on the object.
I even acquired most of the Servo Cat components too. I was given these, so I'm returning them to the person who generously gave them near new to me. Worth a mint, but not mine to sell. If you are interested in these too, Stacey, aka sasup (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/member.php?u=1684), is the man to talk to.

This Argo needs a new home.
Reducing asking price to $480, including postage. Less, of course, if you pick up, or if you'd like to make an offer.
