Sky and telescope slow dispatch

I am subscribed to sky & telescope and have been for a while now. Over the last 3 or 4 editions I have been waiting well past the release date for my mag. I thought being subscribe I would get my mags befoe they were available in the newsagent. Is anyone else having the same problem? I still don't have the current edition. I have phoned them in the past, but the problem remains.

I regularly have to wait 1-2 weeks after the magazine gets on the shelf out here in Roma. Nothing unusual.

Australian Sky & Telescope is usually mailed (ie lodged at the Post Office) between 5 to 7 days before it goes onsale in shops. Mailed from Sydney, it makes its way across the country.

We don't have much control over what happens within Australia Post.

If after a reasonable time you haven't received your subscription copy, please contact our office for a replacement issue of AS&T.

Our August/September issue is being mailed this week.

Thanks Greg for your response. I called today as I have every month over the last 4 months. The lady I spoke to has knowledge of the problem but does not no why it keeps happening. I have a contract with Australia Post and a post box and don't have any real problems with any other incomming our out goings other than with this mag. It has only happend during this current subscription and past subscriptions have all been fine. I don't know and nor does your office... Bit of an odd one and is why I wanted to see if my problem is isolated.
