I shot this area a few years ago, but I wanted to re-explore it and see if I could tease out more dust.

The region is in the northern end of Cepheus. The data has been really stretched to bring out the dust. The fainter regions have poor color fidelity due to the stretching. The luminance is a two frame mosaic.

Another great shot, Tom. Just the OSC shot, alone, is a great shot:)

The addition of the Ha only adds to the quality.

Nice dusty cloud you've captured there what causes the unusual diffraction on the stars

On the FSQ image, the star diffraction wedges are from the clips that hold the lens cell in place.
