Hi, I've a wide field shot of the Cocoon area with 5, 8, & 10 min subs at iso 800 with a Canon 450D (home mod) totalling 2.5 hrs. All exposures were supposed to be 10 min but clouds had other ideas:P
Its processed with flats etc in DSS and PS.
Hope you like...

Bartman - sorry should have put more detail in description.
Scope is an Altair Astro 8-inch f4 - so 800 mm or about 31.5 inches and camera was cooled to about 12ºC below ambient with a home made chiller.

Hi Francis,
A great photo.
Nice detail and colours.
I am also impressed with your "home" modding and cooling.
Thanks.
Ross.

Doug, Ross, Lester & Bartman,
Thanks for the comments. Its like me seeing shots of Omega Cent. Never comes near my horizon (can't blame it always wet up here anyway!).
Clear skies
Francis
