Here is the Ghost of Jupiter. Seeing was good for a change, though very moist.
Composite of 10x60 sec and 2x 10 mins, with the unmodded 600d and 10 inch scope. The higher resolution sensor of the 600D was put to good use :)

That's a great capture Scott.
You've brought out some wonderful detail in its centre.

great shot scott - though i dont see how you can call this seeing good -- come to my place you photon maestro?
"Great Scott", sorry, couldn't help my self, now to the serious side, you would have to be happy with that one mate, very nice indeed.

Thanks all
I wasnt sure how good the seeing wound turn out to be till I put on the camera, thought Id use the 600D as it has an 18 MP sensor. The nebula is so bright I could see it on Live View, and there was a star in the frame I could get perfect live view focus on Live focusing is so much easier. The guide star shimmered only slightly and very slowly. Moisture and dew was everywhere. I looked north and could see the infamous dog track throwing great pillars of light skywards, no wonder Houghy doesnt like it.
It was great seeing the first sub look sharp and clear. I just wish the 600D was modded :) Its sensor is so much better then the 300D, not just the higher res but no hot pixels, it is a few generations ahead of the 350D

A very good rendering of this target. I don't recall seeing one with as much detail in recent times. On my monitor I can see the outer ring and the very fine filaments within the two inner rings. Well done.
