Here is tonight's Moon about 3 degrees above the horizon, sinking between cloud layers.

Great catch Tom. The sunlight ring is visible quite a fair way round.

Very good capture on a less than one day old moon. Clouded out here, but I am glad to see someone captured this event.

This was done with a Canon EOS 550D in full HD at prime focus of a 12" SkyWatcher Dobsonian telescope.
