Here's a relatively short exposure of NGC 6337 done last night. Although this thing is small I didn't crop the frame this time because there is some rather attractive faint nebulosity to the lower left. In fact this area would probably be interesting to revisit in Ha.
Cheers

Nice piccie:). More detail in there than expected, despite its size.

That's a beauty Steve, love it, really well done, sometimes the simple little shots are the best
It's enough to want me to get more focal length...

Well captured Steve, it's the first time I have seen the outer regions of the Cheerio. Thanks for the view.

That's an interesting little object Steve. Nice one! Makes me wish I had 4m of focal length in the Atacama Desert though!

Thanks Marcus. I definitely hear what you are saying.
Thanks Lester
Thanks John
And thank you Ross
Thanks Mike. I think the wide field shots can be more spectacular but it would be nice to have both. Perhaps I'll start using my Epsilon 180 again one day.
Thanks

Excellent result and nicely resolved in the core.
They should call it the 'exclamation' Planetary... for obvious reasons.
I can't recall ever seeing this one before..
Cool!

Thanks Rich. I think it's also known as the Cheerio nebula but given my aversion to American breakfast cereal I think your name is much better.

Seen a few of these but that's got to be the best shot in term of colors and details. Very nice indeed.
