View Full Version here: : Anyone heard from astroron lately?
Astroron is a regular here but I note he has not posted here since June 10th (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/member.php?u=198).
I just tried to telephone Ron, but no answer, so perhaps he is away.
Has anyone heard from Ron recently? I justed wanted to check that he was OK.
I see that some of you visited him on the weekend of June 4th (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=76206).

Ron's gone awol Gary. He's headed bush literally. Ron took off a couple of weeks ago to do an extended bush walk with a group. He's somewhere in the middle of Australia atm. I expect we'll hear from him soon enough. He should have found his way by about now.

I just tried his home and it usually goes to answering machine when he's not there. It just rings out at present. He does get away a bit. Perhaps JJJ & Ponders can advise?
Oops just missed Paul's reply, sounds like all is well.
PeterM.
Thanks Paul! Appreciated!

Last time I heard from him, he was about to pick up 2 ladies in Maleny before heading west. LOL True!!
He said he'd let us know when he gets to Broken Hill. Which will be in a few days time I think.
So those IIS members out there, better put an extra 6 pack in the fridge, cause he's going to be feeling mighty dry after all that walking. :D
Trevor will be the first to hear from him, he's hoping to drop in to say hello.

 Good on Ron, trekking thru the scrub, picking up ladies as he goes, sounds ideal. With I could do like wise :P
Cheers
I last heard from him on the 14th June and he was in Cloncurry.
I texted him on the 20th and asked him if he was okay, but I haven't heard back- obviously still out of mobile range.
I'm going mad with worry the last couple of days because I haven't heard from him since the 14th. I hope everything is okay. I guess I'm being a worry wort.
I miss him. :(

They'll be fine, he's 4wd is only one of the support vehicles.
Sounds like another of Ron's epic road trips. At least the weather would have been
better whilst on the road now than, say, 6 months back.
Hopefully we will see his smiling avatar again soon. Some may see the real face
even sooner.
