With everyone's really great images, I'm a bit humbled and not sure whether this is good enough, so I have been sitting on it for a bit.

IC4628, The Prawn Nebula.

1 hour each RGB in 10 min subs, Megrez 110 with new, gorgeous Moonlite focuser and high res stepper driven by Robofocus. QHY9 Mono for camera.

I have another 110mins of Luminance to blend in but haven't had the time and the RGB looks pretty good on its own.

It does look better at a larger size, I just don't have anywhere to post it that will allow me the original size.

Hope you like it.

Great photo.

Nice colours and details.

Sharp and pinpoint stars right to the corners.

What reducer/field flattner do you use with your M110?

Thanks.

Ross.

Nice one Gray. Looks like you have it all working now.
Well done.

Thanks guys.

Al, the Moonlite is a work of art!! I didn't realize what I was missing.:D

Ross, I actually use the WO Flat 88, which is supposed to be for the Megrez 88. I have a WO Flat II which is for the M110, however, it is a 0.8 reducer as well, so it can be a bit wide field. A friend of mine had the 88, so I asked to test his flattener out.

Thanks Doug! It is taking some time and it is all coming together well!

Add that lum mate, your data will really shine then. This is good but that lum is going to give you more detail. Maybe just boost the star colours too.

Very nice image.

Don't know why you've been sitting on that. It looks pretty good to me.

Cheers

Hi all, managed to get around to putting the lum data in.

Please let me know what you think. I find it hard with the QHY9 to get better star colour, however, I may not be trying hard enough still.
