This image is part of a much longer project. My interests in imaging the dust out there is growing with each new image. Thanks Tom for the incentive.
The dust in this region is very fine and has lovely texture. This image is only around 5 hours of data and really needs at least double to remove the noise present. However, I don't recall anyone else presenting an image of this region at this image scale (think about the image scale here).
So where is this area? Without cheating check out the image and don't look at the text and try to guess where you have seen this before.

That's a very nice image. I like the blue and golden areas as a contrast.

Very nice Mate. Not much of a guessing game though. Must be implanted in every imagers mind.
Youve done well with it so far so the end result should be stunning. I just wonder at what point you will reach deminished returns for the hours on something like this. You can only put signal where there is signal to capture. Empty space will still be dark.
Good luck with it.

Cool Paul, real cool!
If you're after dust, you're definitely in the right area
Yes, can't say I've seen anything as up in your face on this object before either, so great idea for a first!
Look forward to the finished version.

Another wonderful image Paul, the QSI really seems to deliver. Very nicely processed as usual and the colours are just stunning. I'm sure that what little noise there is will go away once you collect more data. Thanks for sharing!
