Managed to process some images taken recently that I was happy with.
M8 was taken with 5" refractor (20x5 min), m20 and NGC 5102 were taken with a VC200L at 2hr of 5 min subs and 8x2min subs, respectively.
I was trying out the field of view of the VC200L and trying to recollimate it with the aid of Al's collimation reticule. I managed to get it very close to full collimation but the clouds were beginning to accumulate so I just managed to get a few min subs of NGC5102 before it closed over. But my stars were better than with M20 so I have just a little further to go to complete sattisfaction.
I liked the shot of NGC5102 due to the juxtaposition with the bright star which brings comparisons between the galaxy and star on so many levels.
Comments welcomed
