The small white storm on Saturn that amateur imagers have been capturing for the last few weeks, has now been captured by the robot spacecraft "Cassini" as it's orbiting Saturn.

Awesome stuff.. Apparently from those that have been imaging it, it's just not a visual object.. most likely there's not enough contrast between the white storm and the pale yellows and browns of Saturn's belts for our eyes to pick it up.

Thanks Mike... a lightning storm with bolts 1000x any produced on earth... makes your hair stand on end :scared:

so you should robert! and congrats.... I have to say that you pic tho less detail is more impressive than that shown on mikes link... maybe it was the colour... :)
