I've tried to answer posts and even tried to post my symptoms of my log off problem here but it seems that after a minute or so of typing a reply it cuts me off when i press submit and deletes my post and asks me to log in again. hope this one works!!!
Is it my computer?
very frustrating!!!!!

I have had this happen several times tonight, particularly when you refresh a page.

What browsers are you using?

Whatever come with internet explorer - am running xp
Now that the .com.au domain is back to normal on the new server, I've redirected the .com domain to .com.au. So even if you try to use www.iceinspace.com/forum, you'll be redirected to www.iceinspace.com.au/forum
That may fix the problem for you. Let me know if it's still happening.
For everybody else, if the forum is still not behaving quite right and you haven't cleared your browser cache.
Logout
clear your cache
close the browser
restart & login
That fixes problems for most people.

I really enjoy IIS. The feed back and help, guidance on many and varied astronomical questions has been what I have not had, due to living in the country and not near like minded astronomers. Thanks so much for a great forum.
I have had to re-log in 5 times in the last 2 hours. Also I notices that the posts done this afternoon still have AM time and not PM.

I'm still getting logged out. i've had to re log in a few times today.
It also seems much slower between threads than normal.

Lester and Daniel,
Have you tried mojo's suggestions above? ie: clearing all temporary internet files and cache files, delete your cookies, and then re-login?
The problem is most definitely related to cookies and/or cache - it's just a matter of making sure you completely clear them out and start again.

Yes. The mrs who knows more about that side of the pc helped me and we logged out cleared temporary internet files and cache files and deleted cookies. she even de-fragged the pc beforehand. Where going to try again tonight incase we missed something but doubt it.
Anyone still having logout problems?
