I have book The Mysterious Universe by Nigel Henbest for sale.
Very good book which expalins the black hole (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_hole) (which also includes explanation of Gravitational Lensing (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gravitational_Lensing)),quasar (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quasar)s ( the most luminous objects in the universe) and other objects. It also includes Cosmic Catastrophes, life of the stars (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star) and stellar evolution (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stellar_evolution)
Pulsars, ice age (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ice_age) and discusion of the outer and inner planets.Lots of photos and illustrations.
It is an easy to understand book which doesn't have complicated jargon.
It is a good astronomy book released in 1981.
Nigel henbest is a well known astronomy educator and he explains concepts and ideas in astronomy in clear and concise detail like Carl Sagan. He has written 36 books and over 1,000 articles on astronomy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Astronomy) and space (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Space) many of them in collaboration with Heather Couper (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heather_Couper)
$35
