Hi.
With my scope in my arms I collided with a brick wall and the focuser broke away from its base. I took it apart and managed to fix it. That is, until I tried focusing my Canon 5D at night. I could not turn the focuser all the way in as it turned out, because of the flat on the higher 20 mm part of the focuser at the top, it has a lip about 2 mm higher. Tried as I might I was unable to turn that 20 mm lip into the focuser body. The solution was that I filed the 2 mm flat down to the same level as the rest of the focuser. The focuser now works as well as when it was new.
