As mentioned in an ongoing discussion about the latest HST image of NGC 5128 (in the Observational Astronomy forum),
there was an Australian symposium in 2009 that was totally devoted to this galaxy.
Fortunately for us, the text and images of each presentation are freely available as .pdf files at:
http://www.atnf.csiro.au/research/cena/programme
These pdf files contain NGC 5128 images at just about every conceivable wavelength!
This is a tremendous resource if we wish to understand this extraordinarily complex galaxy.
[ Some of the presentations were also reworked as scientific papers, and they were published in PASA, Volume 27 (number 4), 2010, but CSIRO currently wants $25.00 to access a single paper.
Some of these papers are, however, available as preprints ]
