Here's my last one. Centered on the cat paw. Approx. 2h with a baader Ha 7nm and 200mm SMC Pentax-M.

Bigger field [80%] here (https://skydrive.live.com/?cid=6930d3ad12d5044c&ref=1&id=6930D3AD12D5044C%21863&sff=1#cid=6930D3AD12D5044C&id=6930D3AD12D5044C%21921). I believe the little line at 2 o'clock from the cat paw might be the bug nebula (?)

Fantastic photo Marc. There is so much detail in this shot.

24/7 astro imaging...you never stop!

Thanks.

Ross.

Thanks Ross. This one was taken a little while ago. Just found it last night. I forgot about it. It was far enough from the moon at the time so the dust lanes are a bit more defined along with the very dark bits.

Very nice Ha shot there Marc and you are correct about that being the bug nebula.

Cheers

Thanks for looking Steve - glad you liked it.

No worries JJJ. Thanks a lot. You're the one who inspired me.

Thanks mate. You can do the same with a DSLR with a clip-on filter I think. Canon does have them.

Thanks Paul.

Thanks Rich. Yeah I was pleasantly surprised. I knew the image scale would be nice because I saw (another) Richard's shots but I wan't expecting a flat field out of the box. The real test will be this week-end in RGB from Crago.

Another interesting mozaic

You and Greg should team up like the 200" Palomar and the 48" Palomar Schmidt - you guys could survey the heavens very effectively

Thanks Louie. Yeah nice and wide with a bit of res still.

Thanks a lot Leon.

Thanks Mike. I think that with all the pictures taken on IIS we could cover the whole sky many times.

That's a beauty Marc. That is a similar FOV to the FSQ and reducer which is very handy.

That would make a good HaRGB image.

Greg.
