Hi guys,

I am giving a talk on meteorites at the July meeting of the Astronomical Society of Albury Wodonga. This will be essentially the same as the talk I gave in Benalla a few months ago with a few minor changes.

So if you would like to see a genuine piece of rock from the Moon or Mars, perhaps a piece of Vesta or hold my 11kg iron meteorite in your bare hands, please come along. The one thing I must stress, especially if you are bringing your kids, is don't forget the camera!

For further details, please visit the society's website:
www.asaw.org.au (http://www.asaw.org.au)

Thanks and hope to see you there,
Trevor

Just bumping this to the top. Unfortunately, it looks like a really cold night, 10 through the day :windy:

Hope if you live around the area, you can drop in, I promise you won't be bored.

Well, the talk went really well with an attendance of about 30, not bad considering it was also the AGM...which are not renowned for a great turnup. Thankyou to all who attended, I hope you enjoyed listening to me as much as I enjoyed meeting you all. Pity about the weather though, but it is winter I guess.

I will let you know if I have another talk coming up some time.
