It's going to dry things out for sure. Which means, hopefully, less chance of fog at night.

Troy, just imaging having all that and being in the observatory or inside controlling everything remotely. Hmmmm nirvana.

The 28 day forecast was looking good too - hope we don't jinx ourselves now!
Allan - I don't have the observatory, but I do have a super long USB cable so I can set up inside the house or at least in the camper trailer. The tent was reading 4 degrees while outside was zero when I was up at Leyburn last month.

Yes, I agree.
That's enough weather talk for now.
For scientific folk, it sure is ironic that we have beliefs in jinxes, curses and rain gods.

I have a cupboard full of virgins that I sacrifice one at a time as necessary

Yes, you sacrificed a few virgin cameras at Astrofest last year didn't you?

Well, well, well...so much for the buying a new Telescope brings out the clouds. My 8SE arrived today and just take a look at that forecast. :D
Now, now don't get too excited yet.....
I may be visiting Star Optics tomorrow morning.
That will be the ultimate weather tester.
Ken.
