Hi all,
Great eclipse photos everyone!
I decided to go widefield this time. I took a series of images approximately 6 minutes apart, from about 4:22 until just before 6am. Here's a quick stack of them. It was a spectactular eclipse, definately worth getting up for!
Cheers,
Stephen

Thanks very much for the positive comments Leon, Stephen, Trevor, Peter, Baz, Callingrohit, Paul, Humayun, and Carl! Much appreciated. I'd planned this a month or 2 ago, so it was nice that the weather cooperated.

Very nicely done Stephen – I only wish events happened on a monthly basis!
Did you adjust the exposure for the non-eclipsed Moon and the eclipsed Moon, or shoot the same exposure all the way through the sequence?
Cheers

Thanks very much Dennis, Marc, Odille, Mike and Matt!
I adjusted the exposures as I went along Dennis. They ranged from 1/10 sec (@ f/6.3) early on, to 6 seconds (@ f/5) during totality.
Cheers,
Stephen

Thanks for the details Stephen that is useful information. I had the interval timer grabbing shots every 5 minutes and I think that for the next eclipse, I might just carefully change the exposure on the fly depending upon the stage of the eclipse, rather than keep the same settings throughout.:)
