Lunar Eclipse in Melbourne

Looked great from Melbourne but not as great in my pictures. Was not ready for how dim it got. Had to open up the ISO and shutter so blur became a slight issue.

We watched it from the edge of the Dandenong Ranges. :)

It was worth getting up and watching it from start to finish. I bet the Dandenong Ranges gave a spectacular view with City in view

Certainly was a spectacular sight!

We were on the southern end of the hills looking over Roweville and further to Mt. Waverley with the Police Academy lit up on the Hill in the distance.

Lovely clear view of the moon till it sunk into the mist and the Sun began to rise.

I don't have a camera, otherwise I would have been clicking away madly too.
