Hi guys/girls

I'm a new member so I thought I'd say hi and introduce myself.

My name is Matt, I'm 29 years old from Perth in the eastern suburbs. I've had an interest in astronomy ever since my olds bought me a Tasco 4" reflector.

Today I own a 10" Meade LX90-ACF and recently bought a DSI II colour which I'm keen to get going once all this cloud buggers off.

I hope to learn a lot from this forum and help any others that I can.

I see you've gone down that slippery slope of astrophotography:) It gets better (and more expensive) from now on:)

Welcome Matt :) I'm new also, and to astronomy as well. Everyone here is quite the welcoming & helpful bunch, so you should fit right in (at least until you start checking out everyone elses gear, followed by your credit card account balance :lol:)

Can I suggest joining a club / society (at least check it out).

The info you'll pick up is extremely helpful, there is more to astronomy that looking into telescopes, stuff like :- Spectrograph, Collimation, Setting up, ect. The wealth of knowledge and experience of the members is great.
