I took this a couple of weeks ago - there's about 30 minutes of data from 30 second iso 800 exposures unguided - ( I was saving up for my SSAG) it's probably the last time I'll spend time taking pictures unguided

It's not a great pic - nor even a good one - but it is a beginner's pic and I'm actually quite proud of it.

That's a pretty faint object, u got a lot in that small 30mins :)
Just imagine what you'll get when u can guide ! :)

Nice shot for 30 minutes worth:):)

Once you get the SSAG, you'll be able to extend those subs out a good way and get a humdinger of a M83, then:)

I've got the SSAG now - but yes, that's the hope.
Thanks for the support guys - I feel like a very small fish indeed in this pond.

Nice Jen for unguided! I haven't even got to that level yet so congrats on catching this one and posting here.

Keep em coming and crew here have given me many tips and suggestions to improve.
