M16 was imaged last night under not so good seeing and windy conditions but was able to get 4hrs with the 40dcooled dslr on 127 prostar, cls filter used

Yeh the conditions on Wednesday night were pretty difficult but you have a nice result there considering.

You're a brave man Alan. I wouldn't have bothered between the jetstream and transparency. Still a very good result. :thumbsup:

Nice result Alan. Weather here hasn't been to good for imaging of late. Just good weather to sit in front of the fire.

Hi Ross yes the cls filter helps a lot can now do 10min exposures instead of3min exp it cuts down the sky glow heaps,although it is harder to process as it brings out more red .
