Android Apps virus attack

For what its worth ....
I Just read that Android Viruses have been detected in over 50 Apps that are commonly available for download.

Some of these open back doors to allow hackers to control your phone/tablet, collect information, or turn your device into a Bot.

This probably opens up a new world of sales for Anti Virus marketers.

Anyone with any more information?

Hmmmm .... just ran a scan and AVG forund 30 suspicious files, but doesnt seem to want to fix them. That was afree App, so may have to pay for something better.
