Heyy all, again i seek your guidance. If anyone knows the chemical composition of diesel fuel would be great. even better if you can give me a quotable reference (reliable). I need it for ma chem assignment..... about fuel :P soooo... :help::help::help::help:

Hi Tony,

I suspect that your teacher wants you to find Technical Data Sheets and Safety Data Sheets from an oil company, so.......

Shell publishes theirs here:

You'll find that there are several types of diesel. Shell has 5 including a biofuel.

The average sort of diesel is well described in that Wikipedia article above. Wikipedia sometimes gets rubbished as an authoritative reference :lol:, so I'd also quote Shell. :thumbsup:
