I wanted to go outside the box today in my DIY studio. I had a couple of friends who were willing to go the extra mile and sit for me.
I spent about 2 hours gluing on the leaves from a bush outside my carport to my mates face. He was very patient. By the end of it, both our backs were killing us, but I am extremely happy with the shoot. Again with the home-made lighting as I still can't afford studio lighting.

Looks good Baz but your one twisted puppy. I hope you used super glue so it doesn't need redoing till after Autumn and the leaves change colour.
You could have also put him in a party dress just to add some punch to the image.
Interesting look though. Rambo eat your heart out.

You ain't seen nothin' yet! ;)
Interesting images Baz and very well done.
It's sort of like Predator meets Rambo with a mix of a few other Sci Fi movies I have seen over the years.
Your definitely playing outside the square.

LOL!!! Someone has more time on their hands than they need!!
This is really cool Barry, awesome concept mate! I must say though that I much prefer #1 to the rest. To me it's more peaceful with the "one with nature" kinda feel (regardless if you were going for it or not) and the others convey a different feeling.
Or maybe I'm looking into it too deeply :D Still great images though.

Very interesting concept. I know you're going in close so DoF becomes a bit problematic, what F stop did you use? Maybe a lower setting to get more in focus? Not a criticism, just my preference really. Hope you didn't send him home like that :P

Cheers Keith. Actually, the shallow DoF was deliberate. I have a new Canon 50mm 1.4 and I have been dying to take advantage of it's bokeh.
