SPX350 F4.53, ATK-16HR, OAG+Mintron guidecam, Astrodon filters.
My first autoguided image since last October and took me a while to remember what to do. My collimation seemed to be a bit off but not too bad, the brightest stars in this cluster can be seen in binocs but a miriad of fainter ones are shown throught he scope with some blue/orange colour. A very nice tight cluster.
RGB-16x3mins each.
Thanks, John.

Nice deep shot. I did something similar in FOV at F/10 a while ago with my C11 but not as sharp. True how many small background stars there are. It's peppered with them.

John,
Jewel Box is a very beautiful cluster and probably my favourite. It is usually best observed, as it does not photo well, but your photo gets the colour and depth of the cluster very nicely.
I like it.
Thanks

A great capture John. Its a difficult object and you caught it nicely.
Greg.
Nicely done John.
That is one of those classic open cluster images.

Very nice John, nice colours. I can't comment too much past that except noticed the star bit bloated but oh so little. Could be this collimation issue you are talking about.
I only see it when 2 close stars are overlapping each other. Could this be a processing issue though.

A lovely image John of one of my favourites in the way of tight clusters (well not a great fan of those wide dispersed type, but this one is on my short list of special ones;))
All looks very nice to me.
Well done!

Thanks everyone, yes Malcom my collimation and processing skills need improving so all criticism is welcome. All subs looked good even the blue channel but my laser is not straight but has now been straightened for collimation, may use a barlow. Could collimate perfectly at F35 for Saturn but F4.5 is challenging me.
Regards, John.
Wow, thats beautiful John.
