Nice fov Geoff. The arms look a bit magenta on my monitor. Good to see you are getting a lot of use out of that new camera.

The colour in yours looks better than mine, Geoff. I need to play with the processing some more :)
Cheers,
Rick.

Geoff, the black end of the hystogram is clipped off in that jpg. I recon there's more in there if you fix the black point and stretch it out.

A very good galaxy shot Geoff.
Sharp and nice colours.
Thanks.

Nice one Geoff. Always hard with small galaxies and a f7 refractor but you have captured quite a lot of detail here. I would have a fiddle with the overall colour and maybe a selective saturation boost to the blue channel and maybe drop the red back a bit.
Good detail shows some good data to work with so a repro is expected.
Well done.

Ross I would have liked it a touch sharper, the dew was quite heavy that night. Still happy with it though

Thanks for the suggestions. I've fiddled with the colour and bumped up the saturation. I think it's showing more detail now...maybe:P Still not sure if the colour is correct or not??
