Hi, Am getting used to the HEQ5 Saturday night managed this one widefield covering a couple of Nebula before dew covered the lens. No intention to capture anything really just trying to get used to the mount and the tracking. Improving.
2 minute exposures 50mm regular lens. Tad overexposed but can adjust, Comments welcome

Looks good Malcolm.
Stars are round and pinpoint.
Is your mount the white Heq5pro?
Ross.

Thanks all, it has been very cold here too.

Nice one Malcolm. Talk about a big field of view. A bit more work on colour balance and you will have a ripper wide field. Must try some myself shortly.

Thanks Doug, I must admit colour balancing seems to be the hardest part now. Knowing what to expect would be good, I use an un-modded camera so I am not expecting a lot of red Nebula detail to come through though.
